Valencia, CA School SLPA Position

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A new SLPA (Speech Language Pathology Assistant) position is open to finish the current school year and option for the upcoming school year in the Valencia, CA area. The SLPA must hold a state of California license and have schools or pediatric experience prior and be able to jump into a school position. Experience with play based therapy including 1 on 1 and small group is preferred as well as knowledge of the IEP process and goals. The SLPA will be paid weekly every Friday and have the option for benefits. Position Overview:

immediate start, current school year (1-2 week start availability) full time, 30 hours/week school schedule elementary student caseload weekly pay every Friday, W-2 employee status with option for benefits

Qualifications:

state of California license as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant experience in schools or with pediatrics prior able to start within 1-2 weeks (immedately) able to obtain live scan fingerprints
