Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting an elementary school caseload. This full-time assignment (3-4 days per week) runs from late January through the end of the school year, providing essential coverage during a maternity leave. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners in a vibrant educational setting. Ideal candidates will possess one of the following credentials: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), as well as experience with school-aged populations. Strong collaboration skills and a passion for helping students thrive are essential for success in this role.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid SLP license for the state of California ASHA CCC or SLP-CFY accepted Experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students Familiarity with school-based documentation and IEPs Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to elementary students Develop and implement individualized IEP goals Conduct assessments, write progress reports, and communicate student progress to staff and families Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
