Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Shingle Springs, CA, serving the school setting. This role involves providing critical speech and language therapy to pediatric and school-aged students, fostering their communication skills within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Provide direct therapy sessions focusing on speech and language goals Track and document student progress with detailed and organized records Collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team Involve and educate families to support therapy goals and maintain continuity of careQualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California is required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology is mandatory This contract position offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and access to a supportive advisory team of experienced SLPs based in your state, dedicated to supporting your professional growth and success.
