Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Work as a Speech Therapist supporting a vibrant K-12 district for the 26/27 school year. This full-time, contract-based opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about helping students develop essential communication skills. Both SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply, as new graduates are welcome and supported in this role. You'll work closely with students, educators, and families, making a meaningful impact across various grade levels.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license for California or eligibility for licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY supervision Previous experience with school-aged children preferred, but enthusiastic new grads will be considered Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students in small group and individual settings Record and monitor student progress; maintain detailed documentation Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and annual reviews Consult with teachers and families to support student success in academic and social contexts Stay current with professional best practices and continuing education
