Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a positive difference in students' lives as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist! A local district seeks a dedicated SLP-CCC to provide coverage for the remainder of the school year. This contract opportunity requires a professional who can jump in and support a collaborative educational community while one of their valued speech-language pathologists is out on medical leave. Your knowledge and experience will be essential for helping students develop communication, language, and social skills necessary for academic success. You'll work in a supportive environment where teamwork, open communication, and student-centered values are at the forefront.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active SLP-CCC credential California state licensure (or eligibility) Pediatric or school-based experience preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to quickly adapt to a new team and connect with students
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans and progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and other special education professionals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district guidelines
