Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist working full-time with an elementary school caseload for the entire upcoming school year. Located near Sunnyvale, CA, this position is ideal for both experienced clinicians and enthusiastic Clinical Fellows seeking meaningful engagement with young learners. As a dedicated SLP, you will play an essential role in helping students unlock their full communication potential. You'll have the chance to collaborate closely with educators, families, and professionals in a supportive school setting, making a significant impact on students' lives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active SLP license for California (or eligibility) SLP-CCC preferred, but strong CFs (Clinical Fellows) are encouraged to apply School-based pediatric experience desirable, but not required Familiarity with IEPs and current best practices for elementary learners Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for elementary-aged students Develop individual and group therapy plans in alignment with students' IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Provide progress monitoring, documentation, and participate in IEP meetings Utilize a team approach to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
