Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding school-based assignment for the 2026-2027 academic year. Two positions are open for professionals who thrive in collaborative educational environments and are eager to support student success through dedicated speech and language services. As a valued member of the educational team, you'll provide direct speech and language support, manage caseload documentation, and participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings. This contract role is full-time, following a schedule of 8:15 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The assignment runs from August 12, 2026, through June 10, 2027. Caseloads are up to 55 students, offering diverse and impactful work.
Qualifications sought:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current SLP state licensure or eligibility for California licensure by assignment start Experience working in school settings preferred Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress tracking Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Key responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population Conduct assessments and participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams Update IEPs in collaboration with educators and families, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines Monitor student progress and provide timely reports Engage in regular team meetings and support overall student access This is a fantastic contract role that allows you to make a real difference in students' lives while enjoying the energy and purpose of a school environment.
