Schedule/Hours:
Full time, 5 days per week
Qualifications:
Valid license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in California Graduate degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Recent experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility setting Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders for patients in a skilled nursing environment Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and therapy colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans Document patient progress, update treatment goals, and modify interventions as needed Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to optimize recovery Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes
