Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take your career as a Speech Language Pathologist to the next level by supporting students across educational settings for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity is ideal for SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY professionals seeking to make a meaningful impact. The position runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with the academic year commencing August 6th. Typical hours are 7:30AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a steady routine and strong work-life balance. The anticipated caseload is approximately 50-60 students, with school sites to be determined.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license - CFY and CCC candidates encouraged to apply Prior experience or strong interest in serving K-12 students in school settings Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Flexible mindset for working across multiple school locations as assigned Commitment to collaboration with educators, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students referred for speech and language services using research-backed assessment tools Develop and deliver individualized therapy to support student communication and language goals Document session outcomes, progress reports, and maintain compliance with state/federal guidelines Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and parents for holistic student support Attend eligible IEP and student review meetings as required Provide consultative services to staff and families regarding speech and language development Enjoy the chance to become a valued part of a dedicated educational community, where your expertise helps students thrive.
