Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Take the next step in your Speech-Language Pathology career by providing vital services to children in a dynamic PK-5 setting. Work in a supportive environment where your expertise in pediatric speech and language development makes an immediate impact. This contract role offers a stable weekday schedule and the chance to work closely with a collaborative team of fellow SLPs—where your skills and compassion will help young learners communicate, grow, and succeed.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state license (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in pediatric speech-language services within school, healthcare, or clinical settings Outstanding interpersonal communication and organizational abilities Passion for working with diverse learners from PK to 5th grade Please note: Not open to SLP Assistants (SLPA) candidates
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in PK-5 students Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff Deliver therapy targeting articulation, fluency, language, voice, and social communication skills Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions Maintain thorough records and regular progress notes Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements in school-based therapy
Role Details:
Monday through Friday, 7:45am-4:30pm with a 30-minute duty-free lunch Full 7.75-hour days, totaling 38.75 hours weekly (unpaid holidays) Help students reach new milestones as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging elementary environment.
