School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Westminster, California Soliant - 3.9 Westminster, CA Job Details Full-time | Contract $47.53 - $67.53 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Working with individuals with speech impairments Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful role supporting students as a School Speech-Language Pathologist for the remainder of the 25/26 academic year. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, working onsite from 7:30 am to 3:15 pm with a manageable caseload of 55 or fewer students. You'll follow detailed instructions and plans left by the previous SLP, ensuring a smooth transition while delivering essential speech and language services in a positive and collaborative educational environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior experience providing therapy and conducting IEPs within a school setting Familiarity with completing assessments and managing therapy caseloads Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students, addressing their individualized goals Complete and finalize current IEPs and outstanding assessments as needed Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to support student progress and participation Keep thorough and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes, IEP records, and assessment reports Maintain a supportive and inclusive environment for all students served Utilize the resources and plans left by the prior SLP to seamlessly continue services This contract assignment allows you to make an immediate difference for students as part of a welcoming and student-focused school team.
