Requirements:
Valid and active Speech-Language Pathologist State license
Responsibilities:
Assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders comprehensively. Diagnose the type and severity of communication issues via clinical evaluations and diagnostic tests. Create personalized treatment plans aligned with each patient's specific needs and goals. Deliver therapy to enhance articulation, fluency, voice, comprehension, and expression. Address swallowing disorders and promote safe swallowing practices. Provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices when required. Educate patients and families on strategies and exercises for improved communication and swallowing. Continuously assess and document patient progress, adapting treatment plans as needed. Collaborate closely with a healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and educators, for holistic care. Maintain precise and current patient records, including assessments, plans, and progress notes. Assist patients in applying improved communication skills in daily life, school, or work. Stay updated on the latest developments in speech-language pathology through professional development activities. Other duties assigned by Management
