This full-time role runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and focuses on children in Pre-K through 2nd grade, serving a caseload of 50-60 students. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current or eligible state licensure as an
SLP ASHA CCC-SLP
credentials welcomed, as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY) Experience or strong interest in working with early elementary and preschool-aged children Skills in assessment, therapy planning, and delivery within a school environment Solid communication and collaboration abilities to work with staff, parents, and other specialists
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for Pre-K through 2nd grade students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, tailored to each child's needs Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions supporting communication progress Document student progress and maintain accurate records to comply with school requirements Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to foster student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions Offer consultations and resources to families, supporting communication development beyond the classroom This contract role provides regular daytime hours, ensuring work-life balance and the chance to truly impact the foundation of a child's communication skills.
