Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a rewarding contract opportunity. Serving PreK and Kindergarten students with a manageable caseload of approximately 25-35 learners, you'll play a pivotal role in helping children reach essential speech and language milestones. This onsite position provides the chance to collaborate with dedicated education professionals and shape foundational communication skills that last a lifetime.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLP license; open to candidates willing to obtain California licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred Experience delivering speech and language therapy within a school environment Strong knowledge of strategies for early intervention and developmentally-appropriate practices Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students needing speech and language services Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to PreK and Kindergarten students Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to achieve best outcomes Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with all state and district guidelines Serve as a resource to staff regarding speech and language development in early childhood Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and IEP reviews This contract spans the school year, offering a stable schedule aligned with academic calendars and consistent hours each week.
