Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take the next step in your Speech-Language Pathology career with a contract opportunity in a welcoming, close-knit district in the northern suburbs of Denver. This smaller district offers support for both seasoned SLPs and recent graduates, creating an environment where growth and collaboration are valued. You'll be primarily based at Adventure Elementary, working with students from Pre-K to 6th grade who have a range of mild to severe speech and language needs.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid (or in-progress) Colorado Department of Education SLP credential (CDE) Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status; CFs welcomed with supervision provided Bilingual English/Spanish required Experience in school settings and working with a varied caseload preferred Able to provide direct services, evaluations, and thorough service notes Willingness to serve as case manager for students with speech-only
IEPs Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy for approximately 40-50 students Maintain up-to-date evaluations and documentation for each student Collaborate with educational teams and participate actively in IEP meetings Serve as primary case manager for students whose only service is speech/language Provide monthly speech therapy minutes and manage a caseload that includes both mild/moderate and moderate/severe needs Support Pre-K through 6th-grade students, including 10 Pre-K students currently assigned
