Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational setting where your expertise in speech-language pathology can make a significant impact. We're seeking an engaging, compassionate professional ready to support preschool students' communication and language growth in a vibrant elementary environment. This contract opportunity begins in mid-May 2026 and spans a full workweek at a single, community-focused school.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy and support in an intensive preschool classroom Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver intervention services Develop, implement, and progress-monitor IEPs, ensuring alignment with student goals Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings May assist in the supervision and mentorship of SLPAs Foster strong working relationships with educators, staff, and families Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations Employ ELL strategies if applicable to address linguistically diverse student needs
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathology licensure Valid Colorado Department of Education certification Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) considered, but SLP-CCC strongly preferred Experience with preschool or early childhood-aged children a plus Proficiency with IEP documentation and progress monitoring required Preference for candidates with ELL training, ESL, or Linguistically Diverse Education Endorsement Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills This on-site role is perfect for those eager to contribute to students' early learning success while honing skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
