Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity near Denver, CO, where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) can support student achievement and well-being. This full-time contract position is ideal for those passionate about pediatric speech therapy in education settings. Candidates with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), those in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and experienced school-based SLPs or those with healthcare or pediatric backgrounds are all encouraged to apply. Key Qualifications:
Valid Colorado SLP license required Proven experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist Background in pediatrics, healthcare, or education settings SLP-CCC or in-progress CFY status highly valued Demonstrated ability to collaborate with school staff and families Strong communication and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language interventions to students Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and document progress Work alongside educators, caregivers, and other professionals Implement individualized therapy plans in a school environment Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Offer consultative support and resources to staff and families Pay for this role ranges from $50-55 per hour, dependent on experience and education.
