Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an engaging opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist providing critical support to students in a dynamic school-based setting near Denver, Colorado. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about pediatric speech therapy and eager to make an impact using both in-person and teletherapy service delivery models. Your expertise will be essential in designing and implementing individualized intervention plans that foster communication, language, and social skills among students. Whether you're an experienced SLP with CCC, seeking your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or versed in healthcare and pediatrics, your dedication can truly change lives.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (Colorado or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or immediate eligibility; CFY applicants encouraged Experience in school settings with pediatric populations Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and online therapy delivery Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students in grades PreK-12 Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school district requirements Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families on intervention strategies and student goals Participate in IEP meetings and related student support sessions Use evidenced-based practices for both in-person and virtual therapy modalities This position offers the opportunity to earn between $42 to $54 per hour, reflecting your experience and expertise.
