Responsibilities:
Assess students' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans Provide therapy to improve speech, language, and social communication skills Collaborate with teachers and families to support students' educational goals Educate staff on strategies to accommodate students with speech and language challenges Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Implement interventions within the classroom setting to enhance communication Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Qualifications:
A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Colorado licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Ability to work effectively in a School setting Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills Preferred Skills and Qualifications One or more years of experience in a School setting Familiarity with electronic documentation systems Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care Job details:
