Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Englewood, CO, providing services to students ranging from mild to severe needs. This contract position primarily involves caseloads in elementary and high school settings. The role requires working onsite, with preference given to local candidates; however, travel may be necessary. Candidates with active state certification and a demonstrated ability to manage diverse school-aged caseloads will find this role rewarding.
Key qualifications and experience:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Active state teaching or clinical certification in speech-language pathology (CDE certification required) Experience assessing and treating mild to severe speech and language disorders within school settings Previous work with elementary through high school students preferred Ability to provide onsite therapy services; willingness to travel considered a plus No recent graduates (Clinical Fellows) for this position Responsibilities and duties: Provide speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students in elementary and high school Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Adapt therapy strategies to address specific student needs and facilitate communication improvements Support a district facing staffing challenges due to unexpected vacancies and maternity leaves, ensuring continuity of care Benefits and perks: Full-time contract position for the end of the school year Opportunities to work directly with students in a supportive educational environment Exposure to a wide range of speech and language disorder cases Potential for travel assignments within the regionLocation:
