Inpatient / Outpatient About the Role We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time interim-to-perm opportunity at Community Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. This is a 6-week interim assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on mutual agreement between the employee and employer. The ideal candidate will have strong pediatric therapy experience and the ability to provide speech and language services to patients from birth through age 21 in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities Conduct speech and language assessments for pediatric and young adult patients from birth through age 21 Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings and patient needs Provide speech and language therapy services in one-on-one and group settings Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive treatment Maintain accurate patient records and document therapy progress in a timely manner Participate in team meetings, care planning, and professional development activities Support a compassionate, patient-centered therapy environment Work both independently and collaboratively within the rehabilitation therapy team Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required Active Colorado SLP license required or eligibility for Colorado licensure Minimum 2 years of experience preferred Pediatric experience preferred Experience in inpatient and outpatient therapy settings preferred Ability to work onsite in Grand Junction, CO Must be willing to relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work, if not local Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach to patient care
