We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist (Speech-Language Pathologist) to join our Rehabilitation team. Position Highlights ✨ Sign-On & Moving Expense Bonus Eligible ✨ Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations ✨ Supportive, collaborative clinical environment ✨ Meaningful work improving communication and swallowing function Position Summary As a Speech Therapist at AVRMC, you will evaluate, plan, and administer individualized therapy programs for patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to help patients achieve the highest possible level of independence and function. Key Responsibilities Evaluation & Treatment Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders Provide therapy to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Patient Care & Collaboration Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members Obtain physician orders for certification and recertification of therapy services Educate patients and families on therapy goals, techniques, and progress Support patients in achieving optimal outcomes and independence Specialized Services Perform or assist with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) (or demonstrate willingness to learn) Quality & Compliance Participate in performance improvement and information management programs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards Qualifications Required Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech Therapy / Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Current Colorado Speech Therapy License Current BCLS Certification Preferred One year of relevant work experience We welcome clinicians who are compassionate, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
