Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting preschool-aged children as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. In this engaging role, you'll make a real difference in early learners' communication development while collaborating with a passionate team of educators and related service professionals. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience working with pre-school populations preferred Strong clinical fellowship candidates considered, provided strong foundational skills and independence Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Organizational skills for managing a caseload of 40-45 students
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for preschool students Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy in individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students' progress Track and document student goals, progress, and session outcomes according to district standards Attend and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Provide suggestions and resources for classroom teachers to facilitate communication-rich environments This opportunity spans the full school year, with a start date of August 17, 2026, and an end date of May 28, 2027. Expect a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours and the satisfaction of working with a supportive interdisciplinary team in a positive school setting. Compensation for this role ranges from $45 to $60 per hour, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
