Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist into a supportive and collaborative school environment, making a significant impact on young learners. A full-time contract opportunity is now open for an SLP to work in a preschool setting, providing essential services to help children develop crucial communication skills. In this role, you'll work 37.5 hours per week, with your schedule set from either 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM or 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, allowing for a balanced workday and time for planning. You'll serve a preschool caseload ranging from 40 to 60 students. The school site is structured for collaboration—another SLP in the building will be available to share strategies, offer guidance, and ensure you're never working in isolation. What you'll bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current or eligible Colorado SLP state licensure Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with teachers, staff, and parents Commitment to creating individualized treatment plans and tracking student progress Passion for early childhood intervention and helping preschoolers reach developmental milestones Your primary responsibilities: Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services according to IEPs Conduct screenings, evaluations, and create evidence-based interventions Document all assessments and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate actively with educators and families to support student success Manage a caseload of 40-60 preschool children, providing services tailored to each child's needs Take a step forward in your SLP career where your skills will help shape a child's educational journey.
