Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist interested in making a difference in the lives of elementary-aged students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This role involves working part-time (20 hours per week) alongside dedicated education professionals to provide essential support and intervention services for a caseload of approximately 20 students. The position runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license required Previous experience working in a school setting and with elementary-aged children preferred Strong background supporting students on the autism spectrum Clinical Fellows considered if able to demonstrate strong skills and high degree of independence Familiarity with IEP processes, progress documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teamsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with ASD Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services according to IEP goals Work closely with teachers, families, and team members to support student progress and generalization of skills Monitor, document, and report on student progress and participation Attend meetings as needed to review and update student plansWork Environment & Benefits:
