Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a profound difference in the lives of young learners by providing speech and language services in a supportive preschool environment. This contract position, running from August 17, 2026 through May 28, 2027, offers you the opportunity to work with a manageable caseload of 40-45 students—nurturing communication skills at a truly formative stage of development.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active, valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) Experience with preschool-aged populations preferred Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship considered if they demonstrate strong foundational skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to organize and manage school-based caseloads efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to preschool-aged students, tailoring interventions to individual needs Conduct screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and progress monitoring Develop and implement IEP goals in compliance with state and federal regulations Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic development Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and compliance paperwork Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding communication disorders This position offers a pay range from $45 to $60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
