  • Full-time, Contract Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required.

This full-time contract position focuses on providing outstanding support to students in kindergarten through 2nd grade. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference as you guide early childhood communication development within a collaborative and supportive educational setting. In this role, you'll also have the unique opportunity to supervise a Clinical Fellow (CF) and an SLPA, ensuring they receive the mentorship and direction they need to grow in their careers. Candidates should possess ample professional experience in a school environment and be confident in a leadership capacity.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Connecticut SLP license and CCC certification Previous experience in elementary school settings, ideally K-2nd grade Strong background in evaluating and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor CFs and SLPAs Excellent written and verbal communication skills Adaptability and collaborative attitude
What You'll Do:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to kindergarten-2nd grade students according to their IEPs Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication delays and disorders Document progress and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families Provide guidance, support, and supervision to a CF and SLPA Contribute to IEP meetings and goal setting for each student on your caseload Maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with district and state policies This contract assignment offers a chance to have a direct impact on developing students' communication abilities at a vital stage in their growth while advancing your leadership skills.
