Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive K-12 school district near Bridgeport, Connecticut. This school-based role serves students with a wide range of communication needs, including speech and language disorders and autism spectrum disorder. This is a full-time position for the full school year, offering a consistent schedule and a collaborative educational environment. Supervision is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows. Key Responsibilities Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide direct therapy services for K-12 students Support students with diverse needs, including autism and social communication challenges Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation Track student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Eligible for or holding Connecticut SLP licensure Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply (supervision provided) School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
