Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Danbury, CT, serving a 5th and 6th grade caseload within a school setting. This contract position is onsite and runs from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY). The role is ideal for SLPs holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, or those with school-based experience.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLP credential with CCC or CFY status Experience working with school-aged children, particularly 5th and 6th graders Familiarity with school-based speech and language therapy services Ability to manage a full caseload independently Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
Location:
Danbury, Connecticut Onsite within a school environment
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to 5th and 6th grade students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Conduct assessments and track student progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication goals Complete necessary documentation and reports in a timely manner Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs) as part of the mentorship component
