This rewarding opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is passionate about fostering student success and growth within a collaborative school environment.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid state license (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Connecticut Previous experience working in schools preferred Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and implement evidence-based interventions
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students ranging from mild to severe needs Provide direct and consultative services to students in both individual and group settings Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to maximize student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and maintain accurate records Engage with the broader school community to promote awareness and understanding of communication disorders This contract role offers a chance to inspire and support students while fostering your professional development within a school setting.
