Aug 24, 2026 Job Description East Windsor Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified full-time Speech Language Pathologist LTS for the start of the 2026/2027 School Year.
Primary responsibilities include:
providing IEP services, IEP progress reporting, testing, report writing, and presenting at PPT meetings. The ideal candidate will be able to meet mandated timelines and work collaboratively within a team to support student success.
Qualifications:
CT (or reciprocal state) Speech Pathologist certification Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of child psychology principles, assessments, methods, behavior modification, etc., and current developments in child psychology. Knowledge of differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles. Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans. Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students. Ability to use computer network system and software applications as needed. Ability to organize and coordinate work. Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents. Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.
Work Environment:
Often work indoors, moving between classrooms and other school areas May work outdoors during physical education and recess. May be exposed to noise levels that are distracting May be exposed to hitting, kicking, biting, and pushing by students in addition to objects thrown by students Work near others, often within a few feet Work related tasks may be subject to deadlines and time constraints
Physical Demands:
  • Must possess the ability to stand, sit, and walk unassisted and provide movement assistance to students as needed Must possess the ability to lower self to a seated position on floors, and to move from a seated position on floor to standing position unassisted Must possess normal visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses, and depth perception

Compensation:
This is a LTS position, and nlimited benefits will be offered Salary will be the LTS daily rate of $308.55 per day
