Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by providing speech and language services in a dynamic educational setting! This full-time, onsite contract opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) offers you the chance to support students in the 2026-2027 school year. Located near Fairfield, CT, this is an excellent chance to build your experience while fostering student success.
Key qualifications include:
Active State Speech-Language Pathology License and Educator Certification Demonstrated experience working in school settings Flexibility and adaptability to work with varying caseloads and grade levels Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and tailor interventions to individual student needs Strong communication and organizational abilities In this role, you will: Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and work closely with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective support strategies Serve as a resource for communication disorders and speech-language development within the student body and among staff This full-time position entails working 30-32.5 hours per week throughout the academic year.
