Job Description

The Talcott Center for Child Development in Farmington has immediate openings for a pediatric Speech Language Pathologists. CFs welcome to apply! The Talcott Center is a privately owned pediatric therapy clinic that offers Occupational therapy, Physical therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), as well as Social Skills Groups to children ages birth-21 with varying needs. We have a Comprehensive Autism Program which takes a holistic multidisciplinary approach. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic SLP who is looking to provide direct services in collaboration with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team of OT's, SLP's, PT's, and BCBA's. Position includes, but is not limited to: Working in collaboration with Occupational therapists, Physical therapists and Board Certified Behavior Analysts Collaborating with interdisciplinary team to facilitate the optimum intervention plan and constant communication and dynamic assessment regarding best practices for the individual child Completing client evaluations and developing treatment plans Implementing direct client intervention within a 1:1 setting, small group and larger group environments Providing supervision for speech assistants and/or students Participating in the development and implementation of group based programs in conjunction with BCBAs, OTs, and PT's Providing parent/caregiver education with grace and empathy This is an exciting opportunity for experienced individuals looking for a dynamic position within a skilled pediatric setting.

Focus on day time, after school and/or weekend treatment.
