Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling opportunity to provide speech-language therapy services to young learners for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers the flexibility to work full or part time, within the structured hours of 8:30am-3:00pm, supporting students in Pre-K through second grade. Located in-person within an easy 25-minute commute from Norwich, you'll collaborate with dedicated educators and families in a vibrant school setting.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience or interest in working with students ages Pre-K to 2nd grade Familiarity with school-based documentation and best practices Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Dedicated to fostering student communication development and educational success
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language services to young children Participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings as a vital team member Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other providers to support holistic student growth Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and school guidelines Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for children of varied abilities This role is perfect for professionals passionate about early intervention and collaborative teamwork within a school-based setting.
