Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students to support their communication development and academic success. This position is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is passionate about helping children and adolescents reach their fullest potential. Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to create a positive, inclusive environment where every student's voice can shine.
Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid and current state SLP licensure (or eligibility) Experience working in a school setting is preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, articulation, and language disorders Comfortable working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication challenges Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation for student progress and compliance Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student services Provide resources and strategies for families and staff to reinforce progress across educational settings
