Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a maternity leave contract at a middle school in New London, CT. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified professional seeking short-term work in a supportive educational environment from March 5, 2026, to June 17, 2026. The position involves working onsite, Monday through Friday, from 7:25 AM to 2:45 PM.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification as an SLP (CCC or CFY preferred) Experience or interest in school-based speech and language services Ability to manage a middle school caseload Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to middle school students, including those with partial caseload assignments Deliver therapy supporting diverse communication needs aligned with individual education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educational teams to monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with local and state guidelines Support a positive school environment and contribute to student success
Location and Schedule:
Onsite position in New London, CT Monday to Friday, 7:25 AM to 2:45
