Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a supportive educational setting near Norwich, CT. This role offers the chance to make a significant difference in students' lives while working within a collaborative school community.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Experience working in school settings is highly preferred Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with a variety of communication needs Strong communication and organizational skills Collaborative mindset to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to determine eligibility for speech and language services Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for IEP meetings and ongoing evaluation Provide resources and guidance to teachers, staff, and families to support student success Stay current with best practices and professional development in speech-language pathology
