Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School Speech-Language Pathologist in the Stamford, CT area. Leverage your expertise to make a genuine difference while working in a collaborative educational setting. Your strong clinical background allows you to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders across diverse student populations. Both SLPs holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and those pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome, with supervision and mentorship provided for early-career professionals.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Connecticut SLP-CCC certification or SLP-CFY candidacy Previous experience within school settings preferred, but not required Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
What You'll Be Doing:
Conducting assessments and creating individualized education plans (IEPs) Delivering direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students Documenting progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations Consulting with teachers, support staff, and caregivers to maximize student outcomes Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams Providing resources and support for inclusive classroom environments
