We are a rapidly growing full day accredited private special education school situated in a newly built and state-of-the-art 20,000 square foot waterfront campus. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and motivated SLP who can provide high-quality services to our students. Responsibilities:
Consult and collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding assessment, interventions and therapy services Analyze and interpret assessment results, and share them with staff and parents Prepare written assessment reports for each student evaluated as well as writing Speech and Language goals for the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) based on assessment results Implement appropriate therapy using research-based interventions Provide parent education and training Work collaboratively with each student's team to create and deliver services to students individually or in small groups Document student performance through data collection and observation Assist with AAC device programming and implementation Model language-based programming and therapy for team members Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings for students Provide parent education and training
