School-Based SLP | Stratford, Connecticut Soliant - 3.9 Stratford, CT Job Details Full-time | Contract $40.92 - $60.92 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Multidisciplinary collaboration in speech-language pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech-Language Pathology License Parent-teacher conferences (communication methods) Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time contract position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist holding CCC certification, ready to make a positive impact in an educational setting near Stratford, CT. Your knowledge and compassion will support students' communication needs, helping them achieve their goals and thrive in the classroom environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility) Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for a diverse student population Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school and regulatory standards Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations as needed Provide therapy in both individual and group settings, adapting to students' unique needs Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, families, and related service teams to support student success
