Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting preschoolers' communication and developmental needs in a well-organized educational environment. This full-time contract opportunity focuses on providing speech-language therapy to a caseload of 13 preschool-aged children (ages 3-4) at a single, well-equipped site with a dedicated space for therapy. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, ensuring continuity for your students and professional growth for you.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working in school settings, pediatrics, or healthcare with young children Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates seeking school-based experience Familiarity with teletherapy practices a plus Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff, and families Experience conducting initial evaluations and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services three days per week to preschoolers with diverse needs Perform initial evaluations for students two days per week, creating actionable recommendations Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize student progress Document progress notes, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Foster an engaging, supportive environment within a dedicated therapy space Enjoy the benefit of working at one conveniently located site and the chance to shape a positive, lasting impact for young learners during a pivotal stage in their lives.
