Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN Position Summary The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to children with communication, feeding, and language delays across a variety of natural environments. The SLP collaborates closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support each child's functional communication and developmental goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, feeding, and communication disorders in accordance with DC Early Intervention and Medicaid guidelines. Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapy aligned with each child's goals. Provide coaching and family education to promote carryover of skills into daily routines. Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, behavior analysts, social workers, and developmental specialists to support integrated care. Document session notes, evaluations, and progress reports accurately and within required timelines. Participate in IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan) or IEP meetings as appropriate. Maintain compliance with HIPAA and Medicaid documentation standards. Adhere to Coastal Healthcare Services' productivity and professional conduct standards. Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the District of Columbia. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates considered. Current CPR certification. Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience preferred (Early Intervention or school-based experience highly desirable). Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual skills are a plus.
