Job Description

Overview Are you looking to grow your knowledge in a highly respected pediatric practice? Are you looking to collaborate with and learn from experienced therapists? Sensational Kids Therapy is a private, state-of-the-art, outpatient pediatric therapy practice located in Washington, DC, that has been operating since 2011. We offer occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy at our practice. REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree from an accredited school program. Current Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the District of Columbia. Certificate of Clinical Competence Three to five years of experience working in pediatrics. Plan individual treatment programs, perform pediatric standardized assessments for purposes of evaluations/re-evaluations, and write thorough and clear evaluations to share with parents and other professionals. Design home programs, provide classroom recommendations, and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with staff, parents, and other professionals. Develop child-therapist rapport and scaffold activities as needed to achieve progress toward individual goals. Work with children with the following diagnoses: speech sound disorders, language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorders, genetic disorders, seizure disorders and other developmental delays and learning differences. Bring positive energy to the clinic and love being an SLP.
