Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Experience an engaging and impactful opportunity supporting students ages kindergarten through 22 as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) in a school-based contract setting near Camden Wyoming, DE. As an integral part of a collaborative team, you will address a wide range of student needs, including autism support, augmentative communication, and various speech-language challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with both moderate and severe disabilities, ages 2 to 22, in developing effective communication and social skills. Plan and deliver targeted speech-language therapy addressing articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, assistive technology, and language delays. Perform diagnostic assessments, interpret results, and deliver clear, insightful reports for families and educational teams. Develop and update individualized IEP objectives in consultation with families and school staff. Foster collaborative relationships by effectively communicating with parents, teachers, and allied professionals regarding students' needs and progress. Remain adaptable, creative, and proactive in addressing the diverse needs of each student.
Desired Qualifications:
Hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Delaware state SLP license. Experience with students with moderate to severe needs is helpful.
