Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) in a school-based setting near Dover, DE. Serving a diverse population of students from kindergarten through age 22, you'll help shape communication abilities and promote growth for learners with a variety of needs, including those with moderate to severe disabilities. In this role, you will: Provide innovative speech-language therapy, focusing on assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive and expressive language development Conduct thorough diagnostic and evaluative testing as required Prepare detailed and insightful reports following student assessments or classroom observations Develop, maintain, and track Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives for each student Build strong, effective partnerships with parents and colleagues to ensure students' ongoing progress and support needs are met Adapt to varied demands in day-to-day responsibilities and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Qualified candidates will have: Delaware state SLP license, eligibility, or ability to obtain one SLP-CCC or be in your Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) Experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and flexible problem-solving skills Enjoy the stability of a 37.5-hour work week along with weekly pay and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
