Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in the school setting, supporting students from kindergarten through age 22 as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY). This contract, full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, including those with moderate to severe disabilities. Contribute your expertise as you empower students to communicate, connect, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to planning and delivering high-quality speech-language therapy focused on individual student needs Address a wide range of areas such as assistive technology, augmentative/alternative communication (AAC), social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive/expressive language delays Administer diagnostic testing and comprehensive evaluations as needed Produce clear, insightful, and comprehensive written reports based on assessments and observations Develop and maintain IEP objectives to support each student's goals Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and team members to discuss progress and strategies for further support Work comfortably with students ages 2-22, including those with moderate to severe disabilities
Qualifications:
Must hold, or be eligible to hold, a Delaware speech-language pathology license SLP-CCC, CFY, Autism Specialist, or relevant school-based SLP experience are all welcomed Experience with moderate to severe disabilities is an asset Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively Adaptable with strong problem-solving skills
