Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY) in a vibrant school community. This role starts August 19, 2026, and continues through June 8, 2027, offering either full-time hours (35 per week) or a flexible part-time arrangement to fit your professional lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver evidence-based speech language therapy addressing social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and language development (receptive and expressive) Utilize and assess assistive technology and augmentative communication devices to enhance student outcomes Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing and interpret results to inform intervention planning Author comprehensive, insightful reports following student assessments and classroom observations Develop, update, and maintain IEP goals in collaboration with the educational team Engage with parents and colleagues to discuss student progress and strategies for continued development Provide early intervention support for young learners requiring targeted assistance
Qualifications:
Current Delaware state license (or eligibility to obtain) Open to SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates Experience with moderate to severe student populations is a plus Strong communication, adaptability, and creative problem-solving skills Commitment to a collaborative, team-oriented approach
