Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your passion for supporting students' communication and language development to a dynamic educational environment where your expertise makes a difference every day. We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CFY) to provide comprehensive therapy services to students in grades K-12 for the upcoming academic year (August 19, 2026 - June 8, 2027). Both full-time (35 hours/week) and part-time schedules are available, offering flexibility to fit your lifestyle and career goals.
What You'll Do:
Plan and deliver speech-language therapy for students with diverse needs, including early childhood intervention, assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, and feeding difficulties. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments, utilizing your insights to generate clear, detailed reports on student progress and needs. Comfortable working with early intervention students, providing targeted support where it matters most. Develop individual education plan (IEP) objectives and documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust supports as needed. Foster strong communication between all stakeholders to ensure students achieve their fullest potential.
What We're Looking For:
Valid Delaware state license or eligibility to obtain one—SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY. Experience with moderate to severe student populations a plus, but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Team player who values collaboration and flexibility.
