Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in educational settings by providing essential speech and language services to school-aged children in a supportive, collaborative environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about student development and communication needs, including those with experience in pediatrics, schools, or healthcare. Both certified Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC or CFY) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) are encouraged to apply, including those with teletherapy backgrounds.
Key Qualifications:
Active state licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA Previous experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings preferred Proficient in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Compassionate approach to working with students and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students, either onsite or virtually Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track progress Work closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student goals Participate in meetings and provide input on student needs and program development Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations Provide guidance and support to classrooms, contributing to a positive learning environment Embark on a rewarding assignment where each day brings the opportunity to help young learners thrive in their communication skills.
