Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students at the elementary level with inclusive, mild to moderate needs. This opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) seeking to focus on pediatric populations and develop their expertise in a school setting. You'll be working with approximately 40-45 students, providing services in a welcoming environment that encourages continued learning and professional growth. The setting is especially suited for a newer SLP eager to learn best practices under thoughtful mentorship.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active CCC from ASHA Eligible for state licensure as an SLP Pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP experience preferred, but strong newer graduates and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply Knowledge of special education procedures, inclusive educational strategies, and working with mild/moderate caseloads Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students within the school environment Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student IEP goals and academic success Create and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to individual student needs Maintain accurate and timely student documentation and progress reports Engage in consultation and professional development opportunities as offered Participate in team meetings to promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment This is a fantastic opportunity to hone your clinical skills, make a meaningful impact, and be part of a collaborative, caring school community focused on doing things right from the start.
